Fietta JARQUE KREBS

Fietta Jarque (Lima, Peru) is a journalist and writer. She began her career in cultural journalism at Oiga magazine and the daily newspaper El Observador. She has lived in Spain since 1984 and, in that same year, was hired as writer for the Culture section of El País newspaper, where she remained until 2013. Specialising in art and music, she was in charge of the art pages of the Babelia supplement for over a decade. In 2013, she founded the digital publishing house PLibros, which specialises in Peruvian writers. She has published the book Entrevista con los ángeles (1995), co-authored with the journalist Rosa Rivas; the novel Yo me perdono (1998); and the book of interviews Cómo piensan los artistas (2015).
