(Gran Canaria, 1978) Cartoonist, comic writer, illustrator and educator. He has a degree in Fine Art from the University of Barcelona, where he specialized in drawing and printmaking. From 2002-2008 he participated in a range of exhibitions and contributed to group publications, winning several comic prizes in his region (the Canaries). He has published five graphic novels and has published short stories in recent Spanish anthologies: Panorama: la novela gráfica española hoy (2013) and Terry (2014). His fourth book, Nela (2013), was nominated for the Critics’ Prize (Avilés Comic Fair) and an award at the 2014 Barcelona International Comics Convention. His latest book, Lamia, won the graphic novel fellowship organized by Acción Cultural Española, the Intitut Français and La Citè BD. This brought a four month residency at La Maison des Auteurs (Angoulème, France).
