Joselo Rangel (Minatitlán, Veracruz, 1967) studied Industrial Design and is a musician and writer. For 35 years, he has been a member of the group Café Tacvba, as guitarist and songwriter. His best-known songs include Maria, Esa noche and El baile y el salón. He has published Crócknicas marcianas (Rhythm and book, 2014), One hit wonder (Almadía, 2015), Cuba Stone (Tusquets, 2017), Los desesperados (Seix Barral, 2018) and La niña aburrida, illustrated by Nori Kobayashi (Planeta junior, 2022). His hobby is oil painting.
