Nicole LAPIERRE

(Paris, 1947) Socio-anthropologist. Her main topic is migrations, minorities and memory. She is Director of research Emeritus at CNRS, Co-editor of the journal Communications and Director of the serie “Un ordre d’idées” (Stock). She is the author or co-author of twelve important books in social sciences. Her last one, Sauve qui peut la vie, an intellectual autobiography, won the Medicis Prize for non fiction in 2015 and will be translated in Spanish in 2018 (EDHASA).
