Fernando Barrientos (Tarija, Bolivia, 1977) has published a story in Memoria de lo que vendrá. Selección sub-40 del Cuento en Bolivia (Nuevo Milenio, 2000), an essay in Conductas erráticas (Aguilar, 2009), and various texts in newspapers and magazines in Bolivia and abroad. He edited and wrote the prologues to the anthologies Bolivia a toda costa: crónicas de un país de ficción (2011) and Hasta acá llegamos. Cuentos sobre el fin del mundo (2012). Since 2008 he has run the independent publishing company El Cuervo. Estampas chapacas (2013) is one of the books published by the company.
