(Mexico, 1974) A self-taught writer, musician and illustrator. In his imaginative and expressive illustrations, this author often realises narrative situations through the positions and facial expressions of his characters; some of his stories have been told using only images. His graphic material includes magazines, posters, leaflets, manuals, album covers, works for museums, literary and text books, theatre sets, murals and large-scale reproductions. He has published more than seventy works and had many exhibitions in Mexico and abroad. Some of his own titles include El tintodonte, Trucas, Morado al cubo, Monstruo en el pantano and Yipo, and he illustrated Ana, ¿verdad?, by Francisco Hinojosa; El renacuajo paseador, by Rafael Pombo; El tesoro de la Noche Triste, by Homero Aridjis and the classic by Antoine de Sanit-Exupéry, The little prince.
