Cathy CLEMENT

clement-cathy

Cathy Clement had always wanted to be a writer; her idol was Astrid Lindgren and still is. She was fifteen years old when she wrote Aleng. In 1996, it won the prize for Best Book of the Year in Luxembourg. With Aleng (a kind of diary) she wanted to tell kids facing problems not to give up, not to be ashamed of what they had to go through. Now a nurse with two kids, she has written six novels (five in Luxembourgish and one in German) and a play so far. She is currently working on a new, very personal book called Not Alone, while also teaching a vocational course on pastoral care.
