Imanol MARTÍNEZ

(Queretaro, 1991) Author of the books Desahucio (FCE, 2022), Tríptico sobre las despedidas (FETA, 2017) and Neighborhood (FEQ, 2017), and of the non-fiction, small format book Blau Cel (Herring Publishers, 2016). He studied on the Master's Degree in Literary Creation at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and contributed to the anthology Nuevas Emergencias (Candaya, 2023), edited by Jorge Carrión. He was a scholarship holder of the FONCA Young Artists’ Programme in 2019, winner of the José Revueltas National Youth Novel Award in 2021 and the Manuel Herrera National Award for Drama, 2016 and 2020. He has written for media outlets such as the Revista de la Universidad de México, Otra Parte and Tierra Adentro. He is co-director of the Youth Drama Festival and editor of the magazine Asomarte.
