(Madrid, 1971) She has published, among others, the novels De bestias y aves (Cálamo Otra Mirada Prize, Francisco Umbral Book of the Year Award 2022, Premio de la Crítica, Premio Nacional de Narrativa 2023), Las efímeras, and the short novel Eterno amor. The books of short stories La vida sumergida, El mes más cruel and Viajes inocentes (2005 Ojo Crítico Prize for Fiction). The books of poems Da dolor, Las órdenes (Book of the Year Award 2018 from the Booksellers' Guild of Madrid), Mente animal and La hija del cazador. She has translated works by authors such as Henry James, Penelope Fitzgerald and John Fowles.
