(Mexico City, 1967) She studied Communication at the Universidad Iberoamericana and has postgraduate studies in Comparative Literature from UNAM and in Communication from the University of Navarre, Spain. She lectures on the Master’s in Public Policy Journalism at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE). She was a recognized academic with the Department of Communication at the Universidad Iberoamericana (distinguished with a Diploma al Mérito Universitario). She was listed as one of Mexico’s 50 most important women by Forbes magazine, and as one of Mexico’s top 300 leaders by Líderes magazine. Since September 2016 she has worked with the news programme Así las Cosas, on W Radio. She is a regular article writer for El País and a frequent contributor to social media. She runs an idea accelerator (Tridente) for the incubation and development of strategic projects. She is a member of the Consultative Assembly and the National Government’s Commission for the Prevention of Discrimination. She is a member of the board of Article 19, a global organization that defends freedom of expression and the protection of journalists.
