Aroa MORENO DURÁN

moreno-duran-aroa Aroa Moreno Durán (Madrid, 1981) studied Journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid and is the author of the books of poems Veinte años sin lápices nuevos (Alumbre, 2009) and Jet lag (Baile del Sol, 2016), the biographies of Frida Kahlo, Viva la vida, and of Federico García Lorca, La valiente alegría (both in Difusión, 2011), and the novels The communist's daughter (Caballo de Troya, 2017-Random House, 2023; winner of the Critical Eye Award for Best Novel of the Year in 2017 and, to date, translated into seven languages), and Low tide (Random House, 2022; winner of the Grand Continent Award 2022 and nominated for the Mario Vargas Llosa Biennial Novel Prize 2023).
