Daniel has been a BBC correspondent in Latin America for the last decade. He was based in Venezuela, Argentina and now Colombia, his native country. Before joining the BBC, he was a reporter and a columnist for important Colombian media, winning several journalism awards. He studied History, Political Communication and Philosophy.
