(Cabras, Sardinia, 1972) Is an Italian writer, she studied theology. Apart from Ave Mary (2012), she has published Il mondo deve sapere (2006) -which was adapted to film by Paolo Virzi Tutta-, Viaggio in Sardegna (2008) -a guide to the island of Sardinia- and Accabadora (2011), her first novel, winner of multiple awards, including the Dessi, the Super Mondello, the Viadana, Alssio, Citta di Cuneo and Campiello prizes, the last one being the most prestigious literary award of Italy. In 2018 she published L’inferno è una buona memoria. Her work has been translated to more than twenty languages.
