An art historian who specialized in art curating; in 2007 she founded an autonomous project, Galería 13, dedicated exclusively to emerging art. In 2010-2012 she ran the Vice México gallery. Thanks to the magazine and website’s network of artists she was able to work with creators such as Adam Green, Devendrá Banhart, James Franco and others. She coordinated and curated the Visual: Holga photography project, a curatorial proposal aiming to emphasize the importance and influence of women in photography in Mexico and Latin America. In 2012-2014 she ran the company Laboratorio de Arte Contemporáneo whose main focus was international forums, conferences and exhibitions, including Adam Green and Fahr (Portugal). Since 2014 she has been working with museums such as El Chopo, the Jumex, the Tamayo and the Centre for Digital Culture. In 2016 she gave a TEDx Ibero talk on women in art. She is currently Head of Cultural and Social Content at Ibero 90.9FM. She has co-founded Orion Kids, a bookshop that promotes reading among very young children. She is a Huffington Post and Mexico.com columnist, and the presenter of the Ready Made programme on Ibero 90.9 FM from Monday to Friday at midday, and presents a cultural slot on W Radio’s Así Las Cosas on Tuesday mornings. She published her first book, El Sueño de Andrés, with Alfaguara Infantil.
