He has a Master's degree in History from the San Pablo Catholic University. He teaches at the San Pablo Catholic University and the Catholic University of Santa María. He has published, among other books: The Republic of Letters in Arequipa. The Dialogue of Intellectuals between the 19th and 21st Centuries (2023); The Golden Age in Arequipa. Legal Culture and Tradition in the 19th Century (2023); and The History of the Superior Court of Justice of Arequipa. Two Hundred Years of Memory and Identity (1825-2025) (first edition 2024, second edition 2025).
He was director of the Mario Vargas Llosa Regional Library (2010-2018) and the Municipal Public Library (2019-2022). In 2023, he received the "Jorge Basadre Grohmann" recognition as a change agent in library management, awarded by the National Library of Peru.
