Psychiatrist specialising in child and adolescent psychiatry. Author of scientific articles and the chapter "La Violencia Familiar en el Perú. Evidencias para la toma de decisiones" in the book Violencia y Trauma en el Perú. Desafíos y Respuestas, published in 2013 by the UPCH in conjunction with the Douglas Mental Health University Institute at McGill University, as part of the Trauma and Global Health Program. Her story “Fátima también” was chosen for the book Mujeres que sanan, on the theme of gender violence, published by the Fundación Liderazgo Chile in 2022. She is the author of six children's books (published between 2018 and 2023) written to raise awareness on mental health issues. In addition to serving in private practice, she provides mental health training to educational institutions and health facilities. She has participated in storytelling and conversations at different literary events nationwide. In 2023 she has obtained recognition from the Municipality of Arequipa for her contribution to culture as a writer and manager of children's and youth literature. Also a certified yoga teacher, she promotes yoga, mindfulness and meditation as good practices for people’s general health.
