Imagina Latinoamérica (Imagine Latin America) is a series of 10 digital and face-to-face talks, in collaboration with Open Society Foundations and with the support of CAF -banco de desarrollo de América Latina-, that will be held from June 2022 to January 2023. Marcelina Bautista is a recognized social activist for the rights of domestic workers.She is the founder of the Support and Training Center for Domestic Workers and the National Union of Domestic Workers, the first union trade that brings together domestic workers in Mexico. A fight led by Bautista and her companions, recognized not only in Mexico, but throughout Latin America; it has facilitated progress in the labor rights of domestic workers, a sector that was constantly invisibilized.
