Buenos Aires, 1953. The young Ernesto Guevara has just graduated as a doctor and, instead of beginning to practice, he decides to undertake a trip through a number of South and Central American countries in search of something that will give shape to his incipient revolutionary desire. After a number of experiences, Ernesto finds what he had been looking for: a cause, a country and a revolution. The first part of the graphic novel about the life of a revolutionary who captured the imagination of the world, based on the biography Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson and illustrated by José Hernández.
