Maylis de Kerangal (France) has worked in publishing and is the author of novels including Birth of a Bridge, translated into eight languages and winner of the Médicis, Franz Hessel and Gregor von Rezzori prizes, and Mend the Living, winner in 2015 of the Llibreter Prize awarded by Catalan booksellers.
