Hay Festival 30th Anniversary Wood Tree-Planting

 – Meet at the Pont ar Daf carpark, Pen y Fan, off the A470

To celebrate Hay Festival's 30th Anniversary, 30 acres of new native woodland is being created on National Trust Wales land and in partnership with The Woodland Trust. We are inviting anyone who would like to join us for the inaugural planting of the first of those 30 acres, at the base of the iconic Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales. As this will be Winter and on rough terrain, all participants should wear warm clothes, gloves and stout boots and of course just on the off chance, waterproofs. This is a mountain site and its characteristics mean that the planting will not be suitable for children under 14.

Please check social media for updates on the weather conditions.

We look forward to seeing you there.
