BAFTA and MOBO award-winning hip-hop artist, writer and social entrepreneur, as well as co-founder of The Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company, Akala talks to the BBC’s Director of Arts, Jonty Claypole, about his recent documentary on Homer’s Odyssey.  He discusses why this 3,000-year-old epic poem has become the cornerstone of Western literature, how it would have sounded to contemporaneous audiences and how it has shaped his own experiences as an artist. Followed by Q&A.
