Pig Business Screening

NEW EVENT

Hay Festival 2009,
We are thrilled to be showing a preview of Tracey Worcester's new film, following Prominent environmental lawyer and campaigner Robert Kennedy Jr's conversation with Rosie Boycott – event 296. The screening will be free but you must reserve a ticket – please book here.

As swine flu hits the headlines, feature film Pig Business exposes the shocking truth about cheap pork products in British supermarkets – lifting the lid on the distressing practices of factory pig farming and the devastating impact it is having on people, the environment and livestock.

Filmmaker and campaigner Tracy Worcester spent over four years researching the factory pig farming business in Europe which supplies over 60% of our UK markets, uncovering the suffering of people living near the huge meat factories whose air and water have been polluted, and showing horrifying footage of dead and dying pigs from undercover filming.

The resulting film Pig Business is a powerful exposé on the factory pork industry.
