Lyrics in their ears. David Keenan and Amandititita in conversation with Rulo

Querétaro 2018,

The British musician David Keenan began a career as a writer with the publication of England’s Hidden Reverse, a work about the post-punk and industrial music scene in the UK, and has continued with his first novel, This Is Memorial Device, the name of a fictitious band from the Scottish town of Airdrie in the 1970s and 80s. Our other guest, Amandititita -Mexico’s most original cumbia singer-, after many years of writing music has published the book of short stories Trece latas de atún. Music and literary creation converge at this event moderated by the journalist Rulo.

Simultaneous translation from English to Spanish available.
