Do machines write the novels dreamed by writers? Milton Läufer and Patricio Pron in conversation with Mónica Nepote

Querétaro 2018,

In contemporary literature it seems that writing becomes the main character, the center, about books that are written and that are thought about how we write. From the European avant garden, to the Brasilian concretism, the American conceptualism: proceedings such as the cut up, the appropiationm the remix etc. are practices that are shining because mobile devices and computers have a poetic potential. These gives into questions such as how to preserse and use our linguistic past and cultural inheritances whilst legal requirements are looking into collaborative and communal practices from the prespective of the market. How do we write? How is really the author? How are writers with the devices of the XXI?

Event coorganized with the Centro de Cultural Digital.
