William Sieghart in conversation with Kirsty Lang

The Poetry Pharmacy.

Arequipa 2018,

Since 2014, William Sieghart has dedicated thousands of hours to offering consultancy to people up and down the United Kingdom, prescribing short and powerful poems for all kinds of spiritual maladies. He tells the extraordinary story in his book The Poetry Pharmacy: Tried-and-True Prescriptions for the Heart, Mind and Soul. This is not a conventional collection, but rather one created by the personal experience of the author, reciting real poems for people who need them. Each poem is paired with a specific condition: fear of the unknown, unrequited love, stagnation, feeling purposeless, convalescence or oppression. He will talk to the British BBC journalist Kirsty Lang.
