The Peruvian journalist Gustavo Gorriti has occupied the posts of associate director of La Prensa of Panama and co-director of La República, and is the founding director of IDL-Reporteros, the first digital publication of non-profit investigative journalism in Peru. In 2010 he was awarded the Premio Nuevo Periodismo CEMEX+FNPI, in the category of Homage.
