Drawing is taking a line for a walk. Claudia Coca and Ricardo Wiesse in conversation with Jaime Bedoya

Arequipa 2019,

Claudia Coca is a visual artist whose work also includes political activism, and deals with themes such as race and what it means to be Peruvian. Ricardo Wiesse is another graduate of the PUCP Arts Faculty; he has given over 40 exhibitions of his work in Peru and abroad. One outstanding piece by him is the ceramic mural, measuring over 10,600 square metres, which he made for the Miraflores expressway. In conversation with Jaime Bedoya, these two Peruvian artists will make drawings live at an event which celebrates the image and the messages it carries.

Event organized together with El Comercio
