Santiago Gamboa and Fernando Iwasaki in conversation with Pilar Quintana

The Colombian writer and journalist Santiago Gamboa is one of his country’s most famous authors. His bibliography contains over ten novels, including El síndrome de Ulises(2005), Plegarias nocturnas (2012) and Return to the Dark Valley (2017), three travel books, a book of short stories and the essay La guerra y la paz (2014). His latest book is Será larga la noche (2019). Fernando Iwasaki (Peru), Doctor in American History from the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, is a historian, journalist, writer and university professor. His extensive body of work includes over 25 books, including short stories, novels and non-fiction. His latest is Las palabras primas (2018), an essay about the Spanish language in Spain and the Americas, particularly Peru and Andalusia. They will talk to the Colombian writer Pilar Quintana.
