Date: Sunday 1 December 2019
Venue: Memorial Car Park, Hay-on-Wye
Local and regional makers and artisans will provide you with a stunning marketplace this winter! Sixty stands, all under cover, offering handmade treasures, treats and some vintage delights during the Hay Festival Winter Weekend.
You can explore the Marquee in the Memorial Car Park, and the Cheese and Butter Markets running alongside, in Hay-on-Wye. You will find textiles and jewellery, glass and candles, paintings and prints, ceramics and photography, willow and wood, and other essential seasonal pressies, all hand-picked by local artist and curator Emma Bevan.
You can also find refreshments at the Welsh Brew stand, selling warming drinks and scrumptious cakes, or the Parsnipship food stall for delicious lunch and snacks, plus the Beer Box mobile bar, selling both boozy and alcohol-free festive drinks.
Throughout the day, there will be festive music on offer from local choirs and bands, including a performance by Soul’d As Seen choir, 11am–12pm, raising money for St David’s Hospice.
Come along and discover all your perfect Christmas presents in one place, have fun chatting to the makers, and fill your bags with gorgeous gifts.
