Cartagena 2020,

Philip Ball has written over twenty books about molecular chemistry and contemporary science, as well as biographies and novels. His latest book is How to Grow a Human, a book in which Ball, based on an experiment carried out with cells extracted from his own skin, explains how almost any kind of cell in the body can become another, different, kind. Could it be possible to create a complete human being? In conversation with the BBC journalist Ana Pais.
