Andrea Wulf is author of The Invention of Nature and the illustrated book The Adventures of Alexander von Humboldt, in which she opens us to the world of the great German botanist and explorer, father of ecology, and one of the first to see nature as we understand it today, an interconnected system in which different species live, prosper and die in relation to each other.
