Javier Gómez Santander is the screenwriting coordinator and executive producer of the successful serial Money Heist (originally La casa de papel). Gómez worked as a radio, press and television journalist for 15 years, until he decided to leave the trade and write fiction, which is how the series La casa de papel, came about. It was the first Spanish series to win, in 2018, an International Emmy Award (Best Drama category), one of the most prestigious media awards, given by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Broadcast in 190 countries and with over 44 million viewers, it became one of the most popular non-English productions on Netflix. The series, which is now in its fifth season, was one of the ten most successful shown by Netflix in 2019. Gómez will talk to Javier Lafuente.
