The rock band Mantis Atea was formed in Querétaro in 2013. The band members are Felipe Muñoz (guitar), Daniel Chávez (bass), Isaac Villagómez (drums) and Juan Manuel Arévalo (percusion), a music quartet with a jazz background fuelled by listening to the likes of Miles Davis, Tony Williams, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Bela Bartok or Frank Zappa. They will play at Hay Digital Querétaro, offering a musical experience inspired by the best of the genre.
