Miguel Brieva (Spain) is the author of seven comic books, including La gran aventura humana (2017), La Odisea Ilustrada (2019) and the series Dinero (2008 and 2017), a satirical criticism of the capitalist system and hyperconsumption, originally published in black and white and re-released almost a decade later in colour. Miguel Brieva’s work is testimony to the versatility of graphic humour and its potential to deal with cutting-edge and global themes.
