Antoni Ballabriga Torreguitart and Andrea Ortiz de Zevallos in conversation with Iñigo Maneiro

Sustainability

Arequipa 2020,

The post pandemic scenario leads us to analyse the impact of economic activities on the world stage where biodiversity becomes more sensitive. In recent years, investment and productivity have been positive in economic terms, but environmental indicators don’t show the same. Is it possible to establish an ideal convergence between the economy and sustainability? Is it possible to accomplish true sustainable growth? How do we involve families, corporations and community organizations to become aware of the consequences, more than evident now, of the attacks against the environment? Conversation with Antoni Ballabriga Torreguitart, co-chair of the United Nations Environment Programme Finantial Initiative Global Steering Committee (UNEP-FI); and Andrea Ortiz de Zevallos, director of the NGO Despensa Amazónica. Moderated by Iñigo Maneiro, a Peruvian socio-environmental consultant and travel journalist.
