Laetitia Colombani (France) is a writer, director, screenwriter and actor. Her first work, The Braid, was a publishing success with sales in 30 countries. Her second novel, Les victorieuses, tells the stories of Solène and Blanche: the first a depressed lawyer whose life is transformed when she starts to work as a volunteer in a home for vulnerable women, and the second a Salvation Army commander who, a hundred years before, founded the Palais de la Femme, a refuge for women.
