Julia Cagé in conversation with Daniel Pardo (Spanish version)

Medellín 2022,

Democracy represents the great promise of liberty and justice in the world today; it is however, a system that is continuously threatened by political and economic forces that prioritize other interests. This event offers the chance to explore this essential matter with Julia Cagé (France), Associate Lecturer in Economics at the Parisian Institute for Political Studies and researcher at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR); she is also a co-director of the Evaluation of Democracy research group run by the Laboratory for the Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) and a member of the Governing Board of the press agency Agence France-Presse. Her latest work of non-fiction, Le prix de la démocratie (2020), analyses contemporary democracy and proposes new and radical solutions for political funding. In conversation with Daniel Pardo.
