What is happening in Medellín's cultural field? What are the new tendencies, themes and concerns that artists have and what cultural products do they offer? In conversation with Ana Piedad Jaramillo, director of the Book Events of Medellín, we will have three outstanding artists from the region: Mario Ángel Quintero, a bilingual author of poetry and prose of a Colombian background, born in the USA; Marcela Guiral, a writer of YA and children's literature born in Yolombo (Antioquia); and Simón Mesa, a screenplay writer and film producer and director, whose latest work is Amparo, a movie premiered in 2021 at the Cannes Film Festival.
