Dan Saladino(UK) is a well-known BBC journalist, for whom he has made gastronomy programmes. For more than a decade, Saladino has travelled the world documenting stories of endangered foods, from cheeses elaborated in a remote Balkan mountain range to unique varieties of rice grown in southern China. His first book, Eating to Extinction, is a fascinating investigation into the thousands of foods around the world that are at risk of being lost forever.
