A star-studded celebration of the spoken word featuring artists from across our festival programme. Oscar-winning actor, Emma Thompson headlines, alongside comedian, Greg Davies, Larry Lamb from Gavin and Stacey, star of Wonka and the Royal Shakespeare Company, Paterson Joseph, the children's author, Cressida Cowell, and the actress and playwright, Joanna Pickering. They'll be joined on stage by local school children who will perform pieces they've learned off by heart especially for Hay festival.
