Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression” and this right includes the “freedom to hold opinions without interference.” The journalists Martín Caparrós (Argentina), Wojciech Jagielski (Poland) and Vaiju Naravane (India) will put forward their professional experiences and their points of view regarding the exercise of this right, which has many times been ignored or not respected.
