Till today, Kobigaan has been performed in villages. Two kobiyals, along with their respective groups, engage in a verbal-musical duel and perform Kobigaan through the presentation of several forms like Daak, Malshi, Sakhi-Samvad, Kobi, Tappa, Panchaali, Jotak, Bhor/Goshtho and Mathur.
