WMD: Horses Mouth
Hay Festival 2005
McNamara quit as Lyndon Johnson's Secretary over the bombing of North Vietnam. He had previously developed Kennedy's 'assured destruction' policy. Atomic Scientist Rotblat quit the Manhattan Project when it became apparent Nazi Germany would not build the bomb. He won the Nobel Prize in 1995 for his work with the Pugwash Project to abolish nuclear weapons.
