The Antonius Players with Louis de Bernieres
An evening of Medieval and Renaissance Music and Poetry
Hay Festival 2004,
The consort will play flute trios and will also play keyboard, percussion, piccolo, mandolin and guitar music by T,Susato, T Campion, Henry VIII, T.Weelkes, G Mainerio and others. The writer and musician de Bernieres will read work by Petrarch, Michaelangelo, Jonson, Drayton, the words to Greensleeves and the T.Champion song 'Shall I come sweet love to thee'. The Antonius Players are Ilone Antonius, Sue Sabin and Tina Gandy.
