Beyond The Border Festival commissioned the great British storyteller to create a new work, based on an incident ('a tale that has always been told in whispers') in the life of his Welsh Victorian great great-grandfather, Thomas Gee. The result is True Thomas, a praise song for Thomas Gee, about his encounter with The Other World. With musicians Chris Wood and Ceri Rhys Matthews.
