Almudena Grandes has been a successful writer since the publication of her first book: The Ages of Lulu. Her latest novel is Las tres bodas de Manolita, an emotional story told from different points of view and set in the years after the Spanish Civil War; it belongs to the Episodes from an Unending War series, which also includes the books Inés y la alegría and El lector de Julio Verne.
