Cathy Cassidy, who loved Alice in Wonderland above all other books as a child, has re-imagined the story for a modern audience in Looking Glass Girl. Chris Riddell learned about the relationship between words and pictures by copying Sir John Tenniel’s famous illustrations. They are joined by Julia Eccleshare of the British Library to talk about Lewis Carroll, his legacy, and how it feels to walk in his footsteps.
