How to animate the inanimate? This session will explore one of the artist’s oldest and most simple subjects: the still life. Infinitely varied, the still life can represent the nature of mortality and transformation, or simply provide the artist with the subject in the absence of a model. Students will have the opportunity to draw the figure in relation to a still life in colour and a variety of media.
