Beltrán Gambier is a lawyer specialising in administrative law and civil society, on behalf of which he has brought and won a number of strategic legal cases. In the field of transparency and institutional integrity in the public sector, he served as a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). For the past 30 years, he has promoted autobiographical writing through the magazine Intramuros and as a consultant to international organisations (including the OEI and OISS).
