David Goodman is Dean of the IE School of Architecture and Design. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and Cornell University, he obtained a PhD in Business Administration from IE University, where he specialised in Strategy and Organisational Theory. His current research focuses on innovations in creative practice and production during periods of socio-economic turbulence and technological transformation. Goodman has co-authored the book An Introduction to Architecture Theory: 1968 to the Present, and his work has also appeared in the Journal of Architectural Education, Technology|Architecture + Design, A+T, Log, the anthology Chicago Architecture: Histories, Revisions, Alternatives, and the book Walter Netsch: A Critical Appreciation and Sourcebook.
